News on the astrophysics of feebly interacting particles
Martedì 12 gennaio alle ore 15:00, il dr. Maurizio Giannotti della Barry University, Florida (US), terrà il web-seminar dal titolo: News on the astrophysics of feebly interacting particles.
Abstract
Feebly interacting particles (FIPs), particularly axions, have been gaining a lot of attention in recent years, thanks to an intense experimental program to study and, possibly, detect them. For several decades, stellar evolution has had a significant role in probing the FIPs parameter space. In this talk, I will review the status of this research and discuss some recent results. The primary focus of the discussion will be axions. However, a few results about other FIPs will also be presented.
Web-seminar ad accesso riservato.
